First Aid & CPR

NALOXONE & NARCAN TRAINING

SOS Training provides a course on administering Naloxone or NARCAN which reverses the effects of Opiate overdose. This course will teach you how to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to administer the overdose reversal drug Naloxone. Naloxone can be obtained without a prescription and is on hand at businesses, educational facilities, and other service providers. *This training does not provide credentials to be a Naloxone Distribution Entity.

This training is suitable for laypersons (someone without specialized knowledge) including businesses, community members, correctional facilities, educators, churches, government and health care professionals, sober living communities and more.

NARCAN Training

ADMINISTRATION OF OXYGEN

The Administration of Oxygen Training Course covers the equipment and procedures required to administer oxygen in an emergency situation. This course is great for medical professionals and can be added to First Aid/CPR for the healthcare provider.

This training is offered in a hybrid model, providing information online and a shorter on-site demonstration for certification.

DE-ESCALATION TRAINING

SOS Training provides a De-Escalation Training Course. Learn how to diffuse conflict with customers or employees with proven de-escalation techniques. These are the same techniques taught to first responders and outreach workers and can help you resolve a conflict with mutual respect and understanding.

This training course is offered in a hybrid model, providing information online and an on-site demonstration.

DEFENSIVE DRIVER'S TRAINING

SOS Training and Consulting provides Defensive Driver Training. This course is designed to help employees avoid unnecessary accidents by teaching safe vehicle operations. This course is modeled after the training provided to first responders and can be taught to groups or individuals.

A modified version can also be taught to individuals who have been in an accident to provide remedial training and ensure their skills are safe.
